This portrait really demonstrates how we try to approach every image we create for our clients - by telling an important story.
Rachel came to us with a very specific idea for an engagement portrait. She wanted it to truly tell the story of her life up to the moment of her wedding.
She had been involved in a ranch for many years and has a strong love of horses; in fact she met her future husband, Dalton, at a feed store! She wanted to tell this story with her engagement portrait, so we went to work. We secured a time and a place on the ranch where she spent so much time and brought in four of her 'four legged family members' to be a part of the moment.
A beautiful morning, a great overlook, some fun moments with the 'family' and we have a moment that Rachel and Dalton will always treasure.
When we did the planning for this session during her consultation she decided to go with our Signature Color presentation but wanted something special to commemorate the ceremony itself. We suggested a very wide mat that her wedding guests could sign and be a part of the portrait forever. That is the image you see here; the portrait with the mat exposed and ready for signatures. (We can't wait to see what the guests wrote when we do the final framing!)
We are very grateful that Rachel shared this very special moment of her life with us and we hope we have been able to create a lasting memory for her!
